Each year, the OSUCOM Chapter of the American Medical Association (AMA) hosts a 5k Fun Run with all proceeds benefiting the Physicians CareConnection (PCC) Free Clinic. The 10th Annual PCC/AMA 5k Fun Run will be hosted on OSU's campus on Sunday, September 29, 2019. Come support an amazing organization and get some exercise!

Physicians CareConnection is the largest coordinator of voluntary health care services for vulnerable populations (low income, uninsured, immigrants, and underserved) in Central Ohio. The PCC Free Clinic includes 13 participating hospitals, over 1,100 health care professional volunteers, and over 200 community volunteers. Every year, PCC partners with The American Medical Association Student Section at OSUCOM to put on a 5k race. All proceeds go directly to PCC to help them continue to provide outstanding medical care for underserved populations in Central Ohio.

Will there be a bag check?
Unfortunately, due to safety concerns, there will not be a bag check. We ask that you leave personal items in your car and recommend that students rent a locker in the RPAC.
Can I run with a stroller?
Yes, strollers are allowed on the course. However, we ask that you start near the back of the corral and give way to other participants for safety.
Can I bring my dog?
Dogs are strictly prohibited for the safety of both participants and our K9 friends.
Can I walk the course?
Yes! We welcome runners and walkers alike.
What is a virtual race?
Now you can be a part of the fun from anywhere! Virtual racers can run or walk anywhere at their convenience, even on a treadmill. There is no specific starting time or place. Be sure to run the distance and then let us know what your time was. It will be entered into the finish times, however, it will not be eligible for awards.
